Know the city wise air quality ratings in Maharashtra!
- Under the city rating scheme, cities in Maharashtra are rated on the basis of PM10 concentrations reported by the respective ambient monitoring stations
- The City Rating framework has been developed in accordance with Indian air quality standards and PM colour coding guidelines in the air quality index (AQI)
- The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board is working to augment the air quality monitoring network with more Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations (CAAQMS), as per
guidelines under the National Clean Air Program - Live Air Quality index data from 15 newly installed CAAQMS Monitoring stations can be viewed here
